Accountant/Senior Accountant

A well respected award-winning financial institution is seeking an Accountant / Senior Accountant to join their team in Guernsey.

Joining a team of 12, you will be responsible for the financial statements of entities administered by the company (including open and closed ended investment funds listed in the FTSE250)  in a timely, efficient and accurate manner while adhering to the highest standards.

• Preparing the timetable for accounts production, Co-ordinating the audits and resolving audit queries
• Designing Proforma accounts on Excel/Word, ensuring  that layout, content & disclosures are in accordance necessary requirements
• Planning and coordinating the dividend process with clients and other teams.
• Liaising with other teams regarding the closing down of the accounting periods. 

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant ACCA or ACA with experience in preparing accounts and in funds/financial services.

You’ll have Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS / UK GAAP) and Guernsey Company Law and good Computer skills – Excel, Word, Teams etc.
