Assistant Accounting Manager

Do you hold a recognised professional qualification and/or a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in finance?

A family-owned independent Fiduciary and Fund administration business is seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager, to join their friendly team

You will assist with the management of a team of Fund Accountants in order to ensure that work is prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities include

• Providing training to and delegating work to junior members of the team (Trainee Fund Accountants, Fund Accountants and Senior Fund Accountants.)
• Assisting with performing reviews of deliverables
• Acting as a key point of contact for a portfolio of active Venture Capital funds
• Acting on investor and client queries and ensuring queries are identified and if appropriate, review junior team members’ responses.

You should hold a recognised professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA with at least years 5 years relevant experience in finance and have the ability to understand and interpret fund documentation.
