Associate Compliance Director & MLRO

Are you someone with considerable experience in regulated finance or professional services?

A leading corporate and fund services firm is seeking an Associate Compliance Director & MLRO.

You will play a key role in ensuring that the firm complies with applicable laws, regulations supervisory requirements, internal policies and procedures through internal controls and actions.

Responsibilities will include: 

• Acting as a Compliance Officer, maintaining current awareness of Guernsey regulatory changes and advising the boards on necessary actions.
• Serving as MLRO, being the main contact for receiving internally submitted Suspicious Activity Reports/Production Orders, evaluating them and disclosing them to the Guernsey Financial Intelligence Unit
• Being responsible for internal reporting to various boards along with management information (MI) reporting across the wider Group and Identifying potential improvements in MI presented locally or across wider group.
• Supporting Risk & Compliance Senior Manager by providing leadership guidance within their department in Guernsey and Assisting Head of Risk & Compliance in overseeing annual risk output from Guernsey operations.

You will have a strong understanding of the applicable business and regulations, together with management experience and hold a professional Qualification such as ICA Diploma, STEP, ACCA or ICSA.
