Business Advisory Accountant

Are you a Guernsey based accountant with strong experience in trust accounting or audit who is looking for an exciting new challenge?

Firstcall is working with a highly regarded professional practice firm that is on the lookout for a Business Advisory Accountant to join their team in Guernsey.

You will be undertaking effective accounting for various clients and undertaking other aspects of clients’ affairs including secretarial matters. 

• Planning, controlling and reviewing client work, exceeding client expectations and retaining and growing client base
• Preparing or reviewing financial statements, identifying and solving issues and cross-selling firm’s products and services
• Managing and coaching junior team members on-site and improving department processes with technology
• Providing cover in the preparation of company secretarial services and promoting the firm as an ambassador

You will be someone with strong technical accounting expertise who has excellent communication, planning and interpersonal skills. Xero systems or cloud accounting software skillset would be a strong asset.
