Compliance Officer

A prominent leading fund services provider with offices in the UK is seeking a Compliance Officer to join their team in Chelmsford.

You will support all legal and regulatory compliance activities of the Chelmsford entities, and take part in international projects, implementing global procedures on a local level.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assuming the role of MLRO
• Overseeing licensing requirements and regulatory obligations i.e. reporting, applying for new business products
• Monitoring suspicious transactions and provide reporting and escalations as required
• Considering the political exposure of potential clients and act appropriately

The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of the UK Funds Industry regulatory framework have a discreet and confidential manner. 

You’ll be well organized with the ability to work autonomously and deal with busy workload.
