Fund Accounting Manager

Do you have strong accounting and people/team management experience?

A dynamic local financial services company is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager – Listed Accounting to join their team. The firm is open to meeting with persons at a Manager or Senior Manager level.

Reporting to an Associate Director, you will be taking charge of managing the accounting team.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing all aspects of accounting matters for a team management accounts, bookkeeping, interim/annual reporting and accounts, weekly/monthly NAV and performing other financial/regulatory reporting
• Acting as 4-eyes signatory on accounting matters and attending client board meetings where you will present financial information
• Managing the audit process for all clients within the team, building strong relationships with audit firms
• Participating in and where needed leading ad hoc team projects, training and developing junior staff

The successful candidate will have a relevant professional qualification (ACCA or equivalent), considerable practical fund or accounting experience, and excellent people management & interpersonal skills. Listed funds experience would a significant asset but is not essential.
