Fund Accounting Manager

Are you an ambitious and experienced accounting professional with strong funds expertise who is looking to take a step up to Manager level?

Firstcall is working with a progressive independently owned Guernsey employer that is seeking to hire a Fund Accounting Manager to their dynamic local office.

As a Fund Accounting Manager, you will lead a team of Fund Accountants who handle accounting and reporting for venture capital clients. You will review their work, coach them, and be their main point of contact for any questions or issues.

• Leading a team of fund accountants to deliver high-quality accounting and reporting services to clients in the private equity industry
• Reviewing and approving financial statements, investor reports, valuations and other deliverables, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines
• Building strong relationships with clients and acting as their primary contact for any queries or issues, as well as attending board and ad hoc meetings as needed
• Mentoring, coaching and training the fund accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment

You will be someone who is professionally qualified and has excellent people management, client relationship management and leadership skills. Being able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure will be something that you excel at.
