Junior Lending Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual to join a growing, forward‑thinking banking organisation as a Junior Lending Specialist in their Guernsey office. As part of a busy and high‑performing front‑office lending team, you’ll play an important role in supporting the underwriting and administration of new lending applications. Full training will be provided—making this a great entry point for those looking to develop specialist lending knowledge.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in reviewing mortgage and loan applications, responding to client queries, and delivering excellent service within agreed SLAs.
• Act as an internal and external credit advisor, assessing client structures and helping develop tailored lending solutions.
• Support the review and renewal of existing loan facilities, and present cases to the bank’s credit committee.
• Work collaboratively with Lending Officers, Credit Risk, and Credit Operations to ensure facilities align with risk strategy and best practice.
