Senior Counsel – Private Capital and Trusts

Firstcall is working with a reputable legal firm with growth plans for their Private Capital & Trusts division and are looking for a top tier legal mind to play a role in this. The business will consider international professionals who are interested in relocating offshore to Jersey.

Joining a team of leading professionals, you’ll be involved in providing technically sound advice and service to clients along with building client relationships. You will be working closely with other senior team members and will receive support from junior fee-earners. 

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Assisting with the development and expansion of client relationships and taking ownership of further developing relationships with core clients
• Providing technically sound advice and client servicing along with effectively supporting colleagues across all organisational levels on client matters
• Participating in developing the practice’s know how, sharing knowledge, conferences, seminars, client presentations and internal staff training
• Ensuring that revenue generation and profitability targets are met

You’ll be an ambitious and qualified lawyer who is able to work well in a collaborative environment, with strong experience in the Private Capital and Trust field and have a commercially focused mind set. The role offers the chance for progression into a leadership position within the firm over the next few years.
