Senior Accounting and Technology Officer

A leading financial services organisation in Guernsey is recruiting a Senior Accounting and Technology Officer to play a key role in supporting fund and accounting teams through system expertise, process leadership and hands-on operational oversight.

A great role for a nearly qualified or qualified accountant who enjoys accounting systems, ownership and problem-solving more than front-line client work, offering hybrid working and increased responsibility under a highly regarded, supportive manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Acting as a subject-matter expert for fund accounting systems (including eFront), supporting administrators and accountants.
• Leading and coordinating system-related requests, reporting outputs and process improvements.
• Preparing scoping documents and advising on best practice system inputs and controls.
• Supporting, guiding and mentoring junior operational support team members.

You’ll be almost qualified or qualified with a strong accountancy background, confident working independently and comfortable taking ownership of systems and processes. You’ll enjoy improving how things work, supporting others, and being the go-to person for operational insight within a collaborative, people-focused team.
