Team Leader – Private Equity Accounting – Relocation

Firstcall is working with a global financial services titan with fantastic modern offices in Guernsey who are seeking to recruit a Team Leader – Private Equity Accounting to their dynamic team.

You will play an absolutely pivotal role in ensuring an exceptional standard of reporting is delivered for clients including management accounts, audited financial statements and providing information for tax reporting. The business will consider those who are looking to relocate to the Channel Islands who are top flight qualified accounting professionals.

This role will see you developing your Accounting team and building strong relationships with clients, auditors and third parties.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Providing advice on potential accounting issues and current best practices along with being a key point of contact for technical Private Equity Accounting matters
• Undertaking internal reporting as needed and overseeing the preparation of financial reporting and ensuring that all statutory accounts are filed within deadlines
• Completing complex fund valuations / distributions / calls / draw downs and reviewing financial reporting for funds done by overseas offices
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, auditors, administration team and other internal departments

You will be a highly skilled qualified accountant who is able to build team camaraderie with superb communication, leadership and change management skills. This role will see you communicate directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
