Finance Manager

On of our key clients is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join its Guernsey team. This is a senior opportunity offering oversight of a large, varied client portfolio and playing a key role in maintaining robust financial and regulatory standards across the business.

A pivotal leadership role focused on delivering high-quality accounting, tax compliance, and financial oversight across a diverse portfolio of client entities, with a strong emphasis on technical excellence in tax.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and overseeing an accounts team responsible for the preparation and review of financial statements across a large portfolio of Trust, Fund, and Company structures
• Acting as signatory on financial statements, tax returns, and loan interest certificates, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
• Managing all tax-related processes, including Guernsey and UK Corporation Tax and VAT, ensuring deadlines are met and evolving regulatory requirements are adhered to
• Overseeing audits and corporate reporting, including monthly management accounts, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory capital requirements

You will be qualified accountant with a strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP. Crucially, you will bring solid and practical experience in tax processes, with the confidence to oversee tax compliance, reporting, and training within the team.
