Fund Accountant or Senior Fund Accountant

Are you a qualified Fund Accountant / Senior Fund Accountant looking for a new challenge?

Our client – an independent funds business with a strong company brand – is seeking a (senior) fund accountant to join a new team working with a new client.

Responsibilities include:

• Undertaking all aspects of accounting matters such as bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, preparation of financial statements.
• Develop client specific knowledge, ensure proactive communication and share expertise and knowledge between the team and the client.
• Assisting with the training and development of staff
• Coordinating the audit process on various companies and fund structures.

This exciting fund accounting role is open candidates who are either local or requiring a permit switch if leaving a Guernsey based firm.

You should be a qualified accountant with at least 2 years accounting experience within the offshore funds industry, have a familiarity with UK GAAP and IFRS and are able to hit the ground running.
