Firstcall is working closely with a highly regarded financial services company in search of a Fund Accountant within their Guernsey office.

You will be responsible for the planning and preparation of financial reports as it relates to a portfolio of funds while ensuring client accounting requirements are accurately met. 

  • You will develop a thorough understanding of entities within the fund structure as well as the type of transactions and what reporting is needed
  • Developing and maintaining a process which ensures all client accounting requirements are delivered in a timely manner as it relates to the financial reports and accounts
  • Liaising with clients and professional advisers to properly plan for the production of accounts
  • You will ensure all fund audits are completed timely by liaising with auditors

The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting skills, sound technical accounting knowledge and is highly meticulous. This business is open to those who are newly qualified or part-qualified accountants with some experience of working within the funds field.
