Management Accountant

A well respected commercial business with an excellent benefits package is seeking a Management Accountant  to join their Guernsey team.

You will support all departments with budget creation and maintenance, the preparation / submission of monthly and quarterly management accounts and budgets, as well as supporting analysis and commentary.

Responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining /compiling a centralised budget for the Group with input from all relevant departments,
• Managing the shareholder reporting process. Reviewing Business opportunities for all projects and assess financial viability 
• Capturing and monitoring the financial progress of projects periodically, updating the assets under construction 
• Acting as line manager for Finance Administrator and providing absence cover for the preparation of monthly management accounts

The ideal candidate will be a qualified/ newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with relevant experience working within a finance department.

Experience of working with Navision and/or Power BI or similar accounting software would be advantageous.
