Senior Fund Accountant

Are you a seasoned Fund Accountant who is either based in the UK mainland or open to relocating from the Channel Islands?

Firstcall is working with a leading fund administrator with a diverse clientele across the globe who is seeking a dedicated Senior Fund Accountant for their Southampton office.  You will be joining a firm that values integrity, collaboration and innovation offering an inclusive environment that supports professional growth and nurtures fresh perspectives.

Working within a structured and team-oriented environment, you will be involved in financial and investor reporting along with managing various back-office tasks.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing treasury functions such as bank account reconciliations and cash reporting.
• Preparing journal entries and managing workpapers within the quarterly cycle.
• Assisting in GAAP financial statement preparation and processing capital activity (capital calls & distributions).
• Managing ad-hoc investor inquiries and maintaining effective client communications.

You will be someone who holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, with 2-3 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Advanced qualifications, such as a CPA or Master’s degree and private equity funds experience, would be advantageous.
