Senior Fund Accountant

Are you an accountant with experience of working within a funds environment

Our client – a small independent professional services firm with exciting expansion plans – is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their growing team.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure up to date and accurate bookkeeping, and accounts preparation and other financial reporting
• Provide exceptional service levels for clients and related parties, including proactive query management and resolution for clients and their advisors, as well as your colleagues
• Co-ordinate all accounting matters for clients, including reporting, and, where applicable, Shareholder and Board meetings, and Process and co-ordinate routine fund accounting operations.
• Act as a mentor to junior staff

You will be a qualified chartered accountant or be working towards a professional qualification (ACCA/ACA), you will also be up to date with, and have good knowledge of, IFRS and UK GAAP, together with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
