Whether you have recently had your university studies cut short or returned from travelling early, the chances are you are looking for work.
It isn’t easy out there right now and if, like many, you are self-isolating, you are probably feeling a little despondent. But if you are well in yourself, use this time wisely.
- Refresh your CV – update it with any work experience, qualifications or achievements. Read it as if you were someone else and ask the question: “Would I employ me?”
- Do some online research into the jobs that interest you. When it comes to interviews, employers are impressed by candidates who have done their homework. Make yourself knowledgable about how the industry works. Read articles, join LinkedIn groups relevant to the industry and immerse yourself in the profession.
- Look at online learning – there is a range of courses out there that can make you stand out from other candidates when it comes to finding a job.
Even though the situation changes daily, we are still actively working with employers and candidates. Give us a call to find out how we can help you to secure work.
