Operational Specialist

Our valued client is seeking an Operational Specialist to join a Guernsey based team. This is a highly visible specialist role operating at the heart of operations, governance and regulatory oversight within a regulated environment.

This role provides critical operational, compliance and risk support , with particular focus on outsourced service provider oversight, credit governance and stakeholder management. It is a specialist, non‑people‑manager position offering significant influence and responsibility.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring regulatory expectations and overseeing material outsourced service providers, including ownership of SLAs and contractual performance
• Supporting local credit governance through independent, judgemental credit assessment and approvals
• Strengthening internal and external stakeholder relationships, including key group and trust company partners
• Ensuring compliance with governance frameworks, policies and regulatory requirements while supporting operational excellence

This is a role which would suit someone who leads through influence rather than people management. Ideal for a confident, analytical professional with strong judgement and decision‑making skills, and those keen for exposure to senior stakeholders and key service providers
