Accountant

We are delighted to be working with a growing and ambitious fund services provider that is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its close-knit team in Guernsey.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional with strong IFRS expertise to take ownership of financial reporting, audit management, and client accounting responsibilities. The role offers significant client exposure, a varied workload, and the chance to join a collaborative business during an exciting period of growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing Annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS, including supporting reconciliations, disclosures, and audit adjustments.
• Managing audit processes from start to finish, coordinating with auditors, clients, and third parties to ensure key deadlines are met.
• Producing management accounts, investor reporting, and maintaining core accounting records including general ledgers and bank reconciliations.
• Liaising with clients, advisers, administrators, and auditors while supporting various ad-hoc accounting and reporting requirements.

The ideal candidate will be a highly organised qualified accouuntant who is commercially aware and confident managing audit projects from inception through to completion. Experience with management accounts, investor reporting, and stakeholder management will be highly advantageous, while experience with Sage would be beneficial but is not essential.
