AVP, Relationship Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of our clients – a well-established banking and financial services provider – for an experienced AVP, Relationship Manager to join its client-facing team in Guernsey.

This role is focused on owning and developing a growing portfolio of local clients, building trusted relationships, delivering excellent service, and working with product specialists to support clients with deposit, lending and investment solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing new and existing business opportunities by building strong relationships with clients, introducers and professional contacts.
• Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring a high-quality, responsive and commercially focused service.
• Managing client onboarding, periodic risk reviews, KYC/AML requirements and ongoing compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
• Working closely with internal colleagues and product specialists to identify client needs and deliver suitable banking, lending and investment solutions.

An ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a front-office client relationship role or equivalent, have a target-driven approach with a strong record of meeting objectives and identifying business opportunities, plus excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with confidence liaising with clients and introducers.
