Head of Compliance

Are you a senior compliance professional looking to step up into a pivotal role.

Our client – an independent trust and company services provider– is seeking someone to head up their compliance team.

You will be a suitably qualified and experienced senior Compliance and Risk professional with a thorough knowledge of the various obligations imposed upon companies.

Responsibilities include;

• Undertake the role of Compliance Officer for the business as well as support, direct and supervise the MLRO and MLCO and deputise in their absence
• Supervise, mentor and support the Compliance and Risk Team and provide training and advice as required
• Oversee and maintain the statutory and regulatory registers while keeping abreast of any developments and report to the Board as required.
• Attend Board meetings to deliver department reports, and Chair the Risk Committee and produce updates and escalations to the Board

You should demonstrate a high level of ethics and integrity, hold a relevant compliance qualification and have at least 5 years in a supervised role of CO / MLCO / MLRO.
