Manager, Financial Control – 9-12 months FTC

A leading professional services organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Control Manager to support core financial control activity across a busy and evolving finance function in their Guernsey or Jersey office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong technical expertise to take ownership of month-end and year-end close, balance sheet governance, statutory reporting and audit coordination, while playing a key role in improving processes, controls and reporting during a period of ongoing change.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading core financial control activities, including month-end and year-end close to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Overseeing balance sheet governance and maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial records
• Managing statutory reporting and audit coordination, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and requirements
• Working closely with Finance Operations & Control, Client Delivery Support and Finance Business Partnering teams to support continuous improvement in processes, controls and reporting

You will be a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional with strong analytical skills and the confidence to work across multiple teams. You will be comfortable managing deadlines, maintaining high standards of accuracy, and building effective working relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
