Head of Client Accounting

A rare opportunity to join one of our key clients in Guernsey as Head of Client Accounting, leading a critical function across trusts, corporate structures, and funds.

This is a senior leadership role with real breadth and influence — combining financial reporting, tax compliance, team leadership, audit oversight, and strategic transformation across a large and diverse portfolio of client entities.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading the client accounting function across a substantial portfolio of trusts, companies, and funds, ensuring the timely delivery of financial statements, quarterly NAV reporting, and related client reporting.
• Overseeing tax compliance across Guernsey and UK Corporation Tax, VAT, FATCA, CRS, and Economic Substance requirements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory deadlines.
• Managing, mentoring, and developing accounting and bookkeeping teams, setting KPIs and driving performance across the wider function.
• Driving process improvement, governance, and digital transformation within the department, while managing external audits and aligning outputs with business objectives.

This role will suit a commercially aware and technically strong accounting leader who combines precision with strategic thinking. You’ll need excellent communication skills, a collaborative leadership style, and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at senior level while maintaining exceptionally high standards.
