New Business and Risk Review Officer

Are you a compliance professional who is on the lookout for your next career move?

A premium international banking and wealth management group is looking for a New Business and Risk Review Officer to join their Guernsey office.

You will identify and manage potential threats regarding existing client maintenance and have a good understanding of the GFSC regulatory framework and its implications.

Responsibilities include:

• New client and new account opening, any subsequent sub account opening, reviewing client applications ensuring thorough completion 
• Careful review of all documentation supplied by the client to ensure that it is complete, compliant, and consistent
• Carrying out enhanced Customer Due Diligence for high risk and PEP relationships including liaison with the RM where necessary.
• Assisting in work relating to FATCA & CRS to ensure clients are compliant for all new accounts and repapered accounts

You will be someone who has detailed knowledge of FATCA and CRS requirements, account opening, KYC/CDD and all risk review processes.

Prior exposure to management of regulatory risk in a large financial institution. would be very beneficial.
