Senior IT Consultant

We are excited to support a key client – a leading IT services provider in Guernsey  – to help them find a Senior IT Consultant to complement their Service Delivery team.

This role focuses on delivering expert IT support and project leadership, specialising in Microsoft 365, cloud technologies, and complex IT environments. You’ll play a key part in maintaining seamless IT operations for a diverse client base while leading technical projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities include:

• Resolving technically complex and high-priority IT issues across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and related cloud environments in line with agreed KPIs and SLAs.
• Leading IT projects, including scoping, planning, and executing migrations across Microsoft 365, Exchange, Azure, and on-premises systems.
• Collaborating with clients, third-party vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and operational continuity.
• Administering Office 365, Azure, MFA, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, networking fundamentals, and security appliances such as firewalls and Wi-Fi systems.

You should have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and colleagues and be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
