Senior Manager, Data

An established financial services business is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Manager, Data to join its Technology leadership team in Jersey.

This influential role will establish data as a strategic business asset, leading the organisation’s enterprise data strategy while improving decision-making, operational performance and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities include:

• Defining and delivering an enterprise data strategy and roadmap aligned with business priorities, transformation programmes and future organisational needs.
• Establishing robust data governance, ownership and quality frameworks while embedding effective data stewardship throughout the business.
• Overseeing data architecture, warehousing, analytics, reporting and business intelligence capabilities, ensuring platforms remain secure, resilient and scalable.
• Leading and developing the Data function while building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, governance committees, regulators and third-party technology partners.

You will have proven senior-level data leadership experience within a complex and regulated organisation, ideally in financial services. You should have a successful track record of improving data quality, strengthening controls and delivering measurable business benefits through analytics and automation. Experience leading high-performing teams, managing third-party suppliers and working with executive-level stakeholders will also be important.
