Senior Manager, Engineering

An established financial services business is seeking a highly capable and forward-thinking Senior Manager, Engineering to join its Technology leadership team in Jersey.

This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and drive the transformation of a secure, scalable and resilient technology environment that supports the organisation’s long-term ambitions.

Responsibilities include:

• Defining the organisation’s technology architecture and engineering strategy while leading solution design, technology selection and lifecycle management.
• Overseeing software development, infrastructure and cloud engineering, introducing modern practices including Agile delivery, CI/CD, DevOps and automated testing.
• Managing engineering roadmaps, backlogs and cross-platform dependencies while balancing new development with technical debt, resilience and commercial priorities.
• Leading, mentoring and developing high-performing engineering teams while embedding security, regulatory compliance and operational resilience throughout technology delivery.

You will have led multidisciplinary engineering teams within a complex technology environment and will bring strong experience across solution architecture, systems development, infrastructure and cloud platforms. A degree in Computer Science or Engineering would be beneficial, although equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
