Supervising Accountant, Accounting & Control

Join one of Guernsey’s key employers as a Supervising Accountant, Accounting & Control where you will be supporting central finance with accounting, reporting, budgeting, and analysis across the wider business.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified finance professional with strong reporting and analytical skills to take ownership of month-end processes, financial statements, billing cycles, and stakeholder support in a fast-paced central finance environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining accurate financial records, managing general ledger activity, and overseeing bookkeeper data input across the group.
• Leading month-end close activities, including journals, reconciliations, financial statements, and reporting packs.
• Preparing and analysing P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements, budgets, forecasts, and wider financial reports.
• Supporting billing cycles, audits, regulatory reporting, internal controls, and cross-functional finance projects.

You should be analytical, organised, and confident working with financial data in a busy environment, plus possess strong communication skills since you will be working closely with teams across the business and helping translate financial information into useful insight.
