Trainee Fund Accountant

Are you a recent graduate with an interest in pursuing a career in Fund Accounting? 

A prominent fund services company in Southampton is seeking a Trainee Fund Accountant to join their team.

You will assist with the routine day-to-day accounting of fund structures under the direction of a Financial Reporting Manager.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with all aspects of the bookkeeping of funds, management companies and associated fund structures
• Assisting with all aspects of accounting matters preparation, reconciliation and proofing of investor reports, statutory financial statements etc
• Preparing periodic bank reconciliations and provide or source supporting documentation evidencing transactions
• Maintaining accurate records on eFront and Microsoft Excel working paper schedules for all aspects of bookkeeping
