After months of work, we have today unveiled our new brand identity.
We approached local digital marketing company Clicksmith with a brief to reposition the business as recruiters who focus on building long-term relationships and strategy.
We wanted to shout about the fact that we take a traditional approach, avoiding the ‘quick win approach’ of bombarding people with jobs and companies with candidates. We are much more about encouraging people to come and talk to us, to explore their wants and needs and opportunities. Recruitment should not be seen as a quick fix, it’s all about building up confidence and treating people as the individuals they are.
Clicksmith worked with us to thoroughly understand how we wanted to be perceived going forward. This included helping us to define our career-partner based approach, our dedication to delivering quality candidates and a focus on the financial and legal services sectors.
As a result of this brand discovery process, Clicksmith developed a bold, clean and fresh identity which represents our granular approach to recruitment (one size does not fit all) and a strap line that emphasises our dedication to our candidates and clients throughout their professional lives.
Our new website is designed with mobile and desktop audiences in mind and has been integrated with our in-house management system to deliver an enhanced job search and application process.
We are delighted with the new look for Firstcall Recruitment and feel this draws upon elements that sit much closer to our profession, passion and approach.
There is an element of sentimental emotion with such a move, as our company is ingrained in our family, and for me, looking back at past photos of Firstcall’s establishment and moments in years gone by, it’s deeply meaningful to have played a part in getting to this exciting point in our businesses life.
Our marketing partners, Clicksmith, have been with us for a few years now and were key to putting all they knew about our approach and aspirations and turning this into a vision for all to see. They have encouraged and supported us, always knowing we have something to say and that they can help make this a reality – thank you.
In many cases we are fortunate to work with families, friend circles and those recommended to us and work with these individuals throughout their career journey. Our new logo and tag line aims to demonstrate this, combined with purposeful colour selection and meaning.
We are a firm that embraces complimentary technology and the new website will offer a much cleaner, effective and ingrained solution for our candidates, offering beneficial advantages and seamless digital features that will add value to those with whom we work.
This project has been a great influence and further experience of self-discovery and we see this as being our shop window for hiring organisations seeking to consider a thoughtful recruitment partnership.
