- A career folder: create a digital and hard copy folder including those key documents such as your right to work / employment permit, copy of passport/photo ID, academic/professional certificates, social security card, CV and references
- Revamp your CV: it can be easy to neglect your CV but now is a good time to spruce this up and bring it into the 21st century
- Career planning: take a moment to sit down and think about what you see for yourself in the future and where you’d like to be. Work out your aspirations and what you need to do to achieve them
- Upskill: visit free online resources, recap on study materials, seek out new information or enrol on a structured distance learning course. Upskilling is an essential part of our tool kit for the future of employment.
Putting these points in motion will see you set for what lies ahead and appropriately organised to act in an efficient and effective manner once things have calmed.
