We’re pleased to be raising money for Movember again this year.
As you may know, Movember is the leading charity taking on mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.
While the charity first encouraged its fundraisers to “Grow A Mo”, they now suggest other ways of fundraising – including “Move for Mental Health” which the team have chosen to take on.
For Josiah – who lost a friend to suicide about 10 years ago – this is especially poignant and highlights how vital it is to seek help when we need it, regardless of our sexual identity.
The team have been taking on the challenge with gusto and have each set their own personal activities and targets.
Marcel, who has pledged to do 3000 push ups for the month or 100 push ups a day, even managed to do them on his recent holiday in the Canary Islands!
Josiah is flying the flag with a combined daily effort to achieve 10,000 steps per day AND 100 push-ups.
Kate will take to her home rowing machine with a target of 15 hours, and Damian has set himself an ab challenge of 45 per day.
We’ll be keeping our social channels updated you on progress soon. In the meantime, we would be hugely grateful if you could donate to the cause this Movember.
