IT Service Manager

A well-established professional services business is seeking an experienced IT Service Manager to join its Technology team in Guernsey.

This influential role offers the opportunity to shape IT service management practices, lead operational excellence and ensure business-critical technology services remain reliable, secure and resilient.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and continually improving the IT Service Management framework, covering Service Desk, Incident, Problem, Change, Service Level, Asset and Knowledge Management.
• Taking ownership of major incident management, coordinating technical teams, stakeholders and suppliers to restore services effectively and implement improvements following root cause reviews.
• Monitoring service performance, operational risks and supplier delivery while providing meaningful reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Leading, coaching and developing service and operations colleagues while supporting operational resilience, business continuity and disaster recovery activities.

You should have significant experience in IT Service Management, Service Delivery or Technology Operations, ideally gained within financial services or another regulated, customer-focused environment. You will bring practical knowledge of major incident management, change governance, service improvement and ITSM disciplines, together with an understanding of infrastructure, cloud services, networks and applications.
